Ashtanga Yoga is a system of Yoga as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915 – 2009). This method of Yoga involves synchronising the breath with a series of postures, which progressively increase in difficulty over time.
At Ashtanga Yoga JHB we believe that a consistent Ashtanga Yoga practice can lead to improved overall well-being. This intelligent Yoga system builds both strength and flexibility in the body, and brings calm and clarity to the mind.
